Ballantine Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing food manufacturing business in West Yorkshire, known for its strong team culture and continued investment across its operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed from the production line and is either already supervising or ready to step into their first supervisory role.
The Role
As Production Supervisor, you’ll support the Shift Manager in the day-to-day running of production, helping to deliver output, quality, and efficiency targets. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to lead from the front, understand the machinery, and support the team on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the running of production on shift
- Supervise and guide a team of operatives
- Monitor output, quality, and performance against targets
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and escalate issues where needed
- Help minimise downtime and keep production moving
- Ensure health, safety, and food safety standards are followed
- Promote good working practices and team accountability

Package
- £35,000 + Bonus
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
- Rotating shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm
