The individual must have an ability to engage and influence at all levels across a business, to build strong and effective working relationships and gain trust and credibility quickly. A core part of the role includes preparing technically challenging corporations tax computations for all UK group entities with the minimum of supervision and providing tax input and review within the preparation cycle for the UK GAAP statutory accounts.

  • Working with the broader regional finance team to prepare the tax provisions (current and deferred) for all UK GAAP statutory accounts and engaging with the group’s auditors as required.
  • Assisting in the complex and time pressured preparation of the year end and quarterly US GAAP group reporting (for the UK sub-group), including the preparation of detailed supporting calculations for current and deferred tax.
  • Assist with the management of the global coordination efforts for “Country by Country (CBCR)” reporting.
