The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

The main purpose of our Lacquer Team is to prepare and issue coatings materials to line. To provide specialist technical support to the line operators to ensure a high quality product is produced at the maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Observe company health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Assist the operators to set, run, and clean the washing and spraying units, the external coatings units, and the ovens.
  • Monitor performance of washing and coating processes to ensure quality and efficiency of coatings usage.
  • Troubleshoot problems on line and recommend preventative measures.
  • Carry out operator maintenance of the lacquer machines and maintain spare parts and change parts in good order.
  • Prepare and issue coatings materials to line, including bookings on SAP.
  • Remove all waste to the correct bins and maintain a clean and tidy workplace.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing (mandatory).
  • Previous experience in basic mechanical and maintenance operations (mandatory).
  • Previous experience with SAP (preferred).
  • Forklift licence (preferred).
  • Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work within a team.

Work Schedule

This role works a rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights, and weekends. The shift pattern is as follows: the hours are 6 am – 6 pm and 6 pm – 6 am. The rotation is 4 weeks on days and 4 weeks on nights. The work week is: Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun; Week 2 – Wed, Thu.
