Position Overview
The main purpose of our Lacquer Team is to prepare and issue coatings materials to line. Provide specialist technical support to the line operators to ensure a high quality product is produced at maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe company health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.
- Assist the operators to set, run and clean the washing and spraying units, the external coatings units and the ovens.
- Monitor performance of washing and coating processes at all times to ensure quality and efficiency of coatings usage.
- Troubleshoot problems on line and recommend preventative measures.
- Carry out operator maintenance of the lacquer machines and maintain spare parts and change parts in good order.
- Prepare and issue coatings materials to line, including bookings on SAP.
- Remove all waste to the correct bins and maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by Management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing (mandatory)
- Previous experience in basic mechanical and maintenance operations (mandatory)
- Previous experience with SAP (preferred)
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Flexibility, reliability and ability to work within a team
Shift Pattern
This role is working a rotating shift pattern which includes days, nights and weekends. The shift pattern is shown below. The hours are 6am - 6pm and 6pm-6am. The rotation is 4 weeks on days and 4 weeks on nights.

- Week 1 - Mon - Tues - Fri - Sat - Sun
- Week 2 - Wed - Thurs
