Position Overview
The Plant HR Manager is responsible for delivering on-site HR services in support of our people strategy, building management capability, and ensuring operational efficiency. You will collaborate with plant management to develop local HR strategies aligned with global and regional plans, supporting various HR activities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Promoting Ball’s culture and driving the right behaviors among all plant employees.
- Implementing and harmonizing regional/global HR policies.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and local employment laws.
- Providing guidance to managers on grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Assisting in communicating organizational changes.
- Building relationships with local educational and community institutions.
- Driving goal-setting, performance management, and follow-up with managers.
- Leading negotiations with unions and managing collective bargaining agreements, including grievance resolution.
- Assessing talent risks and developing succession plans.
- Overseeing HR administration and payroll activities such as absence management, offer letters, and employment contracts.

- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Experience in an HR business-partnering role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors or similar.
- Experience in international manufacturing, consumer goods, or industrial environments.
