As the Technical Operator, you’re a key member of the wider Kettering Team that plays a critical part in supporting the plant's overall business plans and objectives. This role includes 8.5‑hour shifts, rotating between early, late, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance with plant practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ownership of the production area and creation of a safe and efficient work environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical equipment and ability to use hand tools.
- Conduct inspections of in‑process or finished products to ensure quality targets are achieved.
- Assist with equipment maintenance by performing routine checks and lubrication.
- Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.
- General housekeeping in all areas – lab, washer area, WWT & chemical stores, flammable store, coolant filter area.
