This role involves working as part of a collaborative team responsible for managing the sales ledger function, ensuring that records are maintained accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate resident billing records.
- Raise and process invoices for residents and local authorities promptly.
- Ensure correct contracts and funding documents are obtained from Home Managers and Local Authorities.
- Accurately reflect any changes in funding arrangements in resident billing records.
- Allocate all incoming funds from various sources.
- Process direct debit collections efficiently.
- Liaise with residents, families, and local authorities to address unpaid invoices, adhering to credit control procedures.
- Accurately record money received for resident personal allowances.
- Calculate and arrange refunds as required.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
About You
You will possess excellent numeracy skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills are essential, along with experience in managing correspondence with third parties, residents, and external professionals. A solid understanding of care home settings is highly desirable, as is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Home Managers, team members, and local authorities.
