As Head Housekeeper, you will play a central role in making the home warm and inviting.
You will lead a small team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and the leadership skills to ensure your team performs at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the purchase, consumption, and handling of cleaning chemicals and products in line with budgets and health and safety requirements.
- Complete documentation and administration to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Ensure the latest infection control procedures are followed as required.
- Ensure the laundry service runs smoothly and efficiently.
About you
Experience in housekeeping within a social care or hospital environment in a similar role will be advantageous but not essential.
We also seek the ability to lead and inspire a team, a caring nature, and good communication skills, as you will often interact with other colleagues, residents, and their relatives.
We are looking for individuals with a genuinely warm and friendly manner who can multitask when necessary.
Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
