We are working on a highly strategic mandate for a senior employment lawyer. There is no requirement for you to bring any clients and this role will bring with it, for the right person, immediate elevation to partner. The mandate comes from a US firm that is looking for a partner to head its London employment offering. Hours are likely 1200 per annum. Work will be a mix of contentious and non-contentious. This is a permanent position and is really a crucially important support role that has, up until now, been conducted by a very senior and well-known employment partner who has retired.

Given the importance, significance and responsibility of the role, the key for the firm is the character of the individual.
