About The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and creative experienced Events Executive to join our growing team at Balfour Winery. You’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering our in-house and external events, helping to bring the Balfour brand to life through exceptional experiences. From writing proposals and developing new event concepts, to building relationships with corporate clients, this is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver in‑house events from planning to execution.
- Write engaging proposals for both in‑house and external events.
- Represent Balfour Winery at external brand events and partnerships.
- Use your initiative to develop new in‑house event ideas and experiences.
- Identify opportunities for new products and creative event concepts.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of all Balfour products and offerings.
- Manage corporate clients and nurture long‑term relationships.
- Build strong corporate partnerships and explore new business opportunities.
- Perform any other reasonable duties to support the Events Team as required.
Skills & Experience
- High standard of PC skills (Microsoft Office essential).
- Confident working independently and taking initiative.
- Able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional and friendly telephone manner.
- A positive, creative, and dynamic approach to event planning.
- Professional appearance and confident presentation style.
- Previous experience in a similar events role (wine knowledge a significant advantage but not essential).
- Successful experience in designing and executing memorable events.
- Willingness to work weekends and flexibly according to business needs.
