Balfour Beatty has a fantastic opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join the Power T&D team. You will work alongside the Project Manager / Project Director and project team with accountability for successful project delivery, including planning, delivery, monitoring, and handover/close out. This position is site-based near Sudbury, Suffolk.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervise Project Security Sub-Contractors
- Brief the working party and ensure tasks are followed through to completion
- Set people to work and supervise to ensure right first-time delivery safely and sustainably, adhering to programme and budget
- Manage logistics of site setups and ensure compliance with security management plans and policies
- Monitor assets and processes to minimize losses
- Manage and care for personnel, ensuring compliance with customer and project requirements regarding time, cost, quality, and safety
- Attend weekly project meetings
- Maintain accurate project records (progress reports, daily diaries, etc.)
- Prepare internal and external reports and liaise with stakeholders
- Take ownership of Security and CCTV Schedule in line with works programme and budgets
- Implement site security arrangements according to site plans
