About the role
Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Project Mobilisation Manager to oversee mobilisation efforts across multiple highways projects within a designated region, ensuring consistency and efficiency in project start-ups.
Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.
We provide high quality asset strategy, management and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. We provide specialist, reliable, sustainable and creative advice for asset management planning and implementation in the UK. We put our customers first and prioritise completing schemes safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
What you\’ll be doing
- Manage the project mobilisation resources within their designated region
- Coach and develop the teams to enhance their skills, capabilities, and engagement.
- Lead mobilisation efforts across multiple highway projects within the region
- Standardise mobilisation processes through the early implementation of the Highways Mobilisation T-Minus Template.
- Develop and Implement a Mobilisation Plan
- Establish and chair regular Mobilisation meetings with all stakeholders
- Assist Project Director\’s with the Balfour Beatty Gated Business Lifecycle
- Provide progress reports to Project Directors and Senior Leaders, as required
Who we\’re looking for
- Strong working experience of mobilising projects within the construction industry (Highways experience preferable).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, CDM regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively using mobilisation frameworks
