Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Lower Thames Crossing project.
What you’ll be doing
- Take overall accountability for successful project delivery and for determining the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements.
- Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
- Initiate good scope/information/configuration management principles.
- Support Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Produce plans for the team to achieve goals/aspirations.
- Ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification.
- Accountable for KPI’s in line with project objectives and monitor performance.
- Lead working groups and work with OLT on focused improvement areas.
- Ensure team adopt productivity and project controls techniques.
- Able to identify elements for cost recovery from others.
- Lead effective reporting routines including escalation as required.

- Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery.
- Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts.
- Proficient in commercial/project management communications.
- Experience in implementing safe systems of work.
- Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organisation.
