Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Lower Thames Crossing project.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take overall accountability for successful project delivery and for determining the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements.
  • Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Initiate good scope/information/configuration management principles.
  • Support Accident/Incident Investigations.
  • Produce plans for the team to achieve goals/aspirations.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification.
  • Accountable for KPI’s in line with project objectives and monitor performance.
  • Lead working groups and work with OLT on focused improvement areas.
  • Ensure team adopt productivity and project controls techniques.
  • Able to identify elements for cost recovery from others.
  • Lead effective reporting routines including escalation as required.

  • Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts.
  • Proficient in commercial/project management communications.
  • Experience in implementing safe systems of work.
