What you'll be doing:
- To support the project team in delivery of land survey requirements for the project.
- Assist project team in the acquisition of asset, topographical, production or as-built surveys and for the provision of control and setting-out on the project.
- Assist in the processing, calculation and verifying of subcontractor production.
- Assist in production and issuing of machine control models, or checking models produced by subcontractors.
- Collation of as-built information from various subcontractors.
- Management of survey control stations throughout the construction phase.
- Assist in aligning engineering staff to standardised survey requirements, to ensure consistency throughout delivery.
- Management of survey equipment, ensuring annual inspections are completed on time and on site checks are completed at the required frequencies.
- Accountable for the implementation and management of surveying requirements for the project.
- Establish and manage a survey control network throughout the site.
- Implement standardised surveying requirements and ensure this is shared within internal team and subcontractors undertaking work on site.
- Assist in valuation calculation of subcontractor completed works, through verification of production rates as required by the internal commercial teams.
- Assist in the production, collation, storage and outputs of as-built information as the project progresses, including production of information required as part of the quality assurance process.
- Accountable for the control and maintenance of all survey equipment in line with the Company's procedures.
- Produce internally, or check externally any machine control models being used on the project, ensuring that these are current and issued for construction.

Who we're looking for:
- Knowledge and experience in current survey software, including production and management of machine control models.
- Experience in substantial earthworks projects.
- High levels of experience in modern survey equipment, including setting up of base stations for use of GPS equipment shared between multiple stakeholders.
- Prepared to assist in developing engineering staff to ensure they are equipped to complete survey tasks to a defined process.
