  • Quality Assurance: Obtain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for self‑delivered works from the Balfour Beatty Highways library or other projects, refining them in accordance with LTC specifications and standards. Review and assess subcontractor ITPs as required.
  • Community Engagement: Take into account community and stakeholder requirements when preparing lookahead programmes, consulting with the Community and Communications team to ensure full understanding and agreement of these needs. Volunteer for and participate in community engagement events, encouraging Site Engineers to participate as well.
  • Environmental Sustainability & Carbon Management: Ensure all lookahead programmes, Works Package Plans, ITPs, and related documentation are prepared in accordance with the Environmental Management Plan and the project's carbon commitments. Monitor compliance on site and report any breaches to the Package Manager and Environmental team.
  • Procurement: Collaborate with the logistics team and supervisors to ensure all necessary materials and plant are available on time and meet approved specifications. Work alongside the Package Manager to prepare and obtain approval for material and plant requisitions.
