Are you ready to lead one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK? We are looking for a visionary Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to shape and deliver a world‑class strategy for the Lower Thames Crossing - the greenest road ever built. This is your chance to make a lasting impact, driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across a £1.5bn supply chain. You will champion partnership principles, embed cutting‑edge practices, and ensure our enterprise model sets the benchmark for excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the strategy for procurement and supply chain on a nationally significant project.
- Drive transformation through innovation, digital enablement, and enterprise working.
- Champion sustainability, enabling the journey to net zero and maximising SME and local supplier participation.
- Collaborate at the highest level, acting as a strategic partner to National Highways and influencing industry‑wide best practice.
- Build and inspire a high‑performing team that thrives on progress and inclusion.
Who we’re looking for:
- Senior‑level experience in procurement and supply chain within complex, large‑scale projects.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
- A passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Professional qualifications (CIPS or similar) desirable.
