What you'll be doing
- As a Project Manager with Balvac, you’ll take full ownership of projects from start to finish—balancing safety, quality, time and cost while building strong customer relationships.
- Lead and motivate project teams and supply chain partners to deliver to programme, budget and quality targets.
- Own project P&L and drive commercial performance.
- Champion Zero Harm, embedding a culture of safety excellence on every project.
- Manage customer relationships, change control and decision‑making to exceed expectations.
- Deliver sustainability objectives, including waste, energy and water efficiency.
- Implement robust planning, risk, change and project controls.
- Apply Lean Construction principles and visual management to improve productivity and safety.
- Use BIM / digital tools to optimise delivery and collaboration.
- Report clearly on progress, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in project management within construction or civil engineering.
- Confident leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing costs and margins.
- Passionate about safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- CSCS card essential.
- Professional qualification (e.g. APMP) and technical qualification desirable.
- Experience or training in Lean Construction is an advantage.
