The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
An exciting opportunity to be part of a new soft estate’s maintenance team, delivering the efficient delivery on the M25 DBFO Network a wide range of soft estates works, hazard clearance, network maintenance and other tasks as required by Line Manager.
Responsibilities
- Soft estates maintenance – grass cutting, heavy vegetation clearance, arboriculture works, ditch clearance, weed spraying and other associated grounds maintenance tasks.
- Sign maintenance/clearance.
- Ensure a relentless focus on Making Safety Personal.
- Provide accurate and legible written and verbal communication in the form of reports and records as required.
- Use mobile communication/data devices to accurately input data for record purposes to form reports and business records as required.
- Undertake routine vehicle checks and maintain accurate and up to date driving records in line with legislation in accordance with CPS procedures and legislation.
- Taking due care of any CPS property including but not limited to tablets, vehicles and radios.
- Raise awareness of issues which may affect the safe operation of the network and report these as observed.
- Participate in Winter Service rota as required.
- Attend training courses as required.
- Live the Balfour Beatty Values.
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
- Support the delivery of CPSUK’s Sustainability activities.
Qualifications
- UK Driving Licence, minimum category C (LGV Class 1).
- Driver Qualification Card / CPC Up to date / In Date Digi Card.
- CSCS Operative Card.
- Sector Scheme 18 – relevant elements.
- Register Of Land-based Operations (ROLO).
Experience
- Working on a live motorway or All-Purpose Trunk Road (APTR) network.
- Fully competent in the use of all soft estates plant, including but not limited to – chainsaw, chipper, Robomower, Ride on Mowers, strimmer’s, hedge cutters etc.
