Join our Balfour Beatty Highways business for a terrific opportunity as a Project Manager on the Lower Thames Crossing project. We maintain, manage and operate major highway networks across the UK, supporting local authorities in creating communities where people want to live, work, and play.
We provide high-quality asset strategy, management, and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers. Our focus is on delivering schemes safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Take overall accountability for successful project delivery and determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements.
- Prepare both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
- Initiate good scope/information/configuration management principles.
- Support Accident/Incident Investigations.
- Produce plans for the team to achieve goals/aspirations.
- Ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification.
- Accountable for KPIs in line with project objectives and monitor performance.
- Lead working groups and collaborate with OLT on focused improvement areas.
- Ensure the team adopts productivity and project control techniques.
- Able to identify elements for cost recovery from others.
- Lead effective reporting routines including escalation as required.
