Work Hours: The work schedule is Monday to Friday, day shift. The initial eight weeks of training will be conducted full-time at the South Simms office. Upon completion of training, the arrangement will transition to a hybrid model of three days on-site and two days working from home (WFH).
Role overview: Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, are currently recruiting for Roadside Administrators working on behalf of a leading Asset & Technology Solutions services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Road Space bookings team for the M25 motorway. The postholder's duties will include:
- Assisting with the maintenance of accurate records
- Processing road space bookings
- Managing communications
- Supporting the team with stakeholder interactions and compliance obligations
While comprehensive training will be provided, it is a prerequisite that the postholder possesses prior administrative experience, specifically encompassing data input and email management. Familiarity with IT systems and reporting is essential, alongside demonstrating strong organisational and communication proficiencies.
Day-to-Day Accountabilities:
- Administrative Support: Process and maintain accurate records of road space bookings utilising the NOMS and NEMS systems. Input cone times and cancellations into the relevant systems. Assist with the tracking and management of Time Scale Waivers (TSW) documentation and the associated change control processes. Monitor and maintain the Road Space email inbox, responding to correspondence and escalating queries as required. Provide assistance with the processing of permits and TMAN applications. Update and manage cancellations, ensuring full compliance with established timelines and procedures.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and local authorities, ensuring transparent communication and the timely resolution of all queries. Provide support to Road Space Coordinators in stakeholder discussions and data collection endeavours. Process and respond to stakeholder feedback, escalating critical issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Compliance and Coordination: Assist with the processing of maintenance work bookings and advance planning for traffic diversions. Support compliance with contractual obligations through meticulous record-keeping and comprehensive reporting.
- Team Collaboration: Provide support to Road Space Coordinators by managing routine administrative tasks, thereby optimising resources for more complex planning activities. Assist with meeting organisation, including the scheduling of appointments, preparation of essential materials, and accurate minute-taking. Offer administrative assistance to other business areas during periods of peak workload or staff absences.
