Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Project Engineer with Electrical Engineering experience on our Operational Team and you’ll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you. This position will be site based at our site in Peterhead.
As a Project Engineer your role will be:
- To formalise and specify a delivery solution
- To brief the solution to the working party and ensure it is followed and completed

What you’ll be doing:

- Manage, monitor and motivate a multi-skilled team of engineers, subcontractors and other construction experts
- Take responsibility for smaller projects or sections of larger projects
- Set performance targets and carry out analysis to make sure your team are working to the highest standards of safety and quality
- Be involved in the procurement of subcontractors
- Develop and deliver the engineered solution and brief to the working party
- Safely and sustainably deliver activity to programme, cost and quality
- Monitor and record works to ensure compliance in a timely manner
- Support and develop an environment where the working party can thrive and succeed
- Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience and track record in delivering electrical engineering projects
- Experience of supporting large infrastructure projects within our Industry
- Knowledge and experience of Project Management methodology
- Strong People Management
- Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
