Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of reactive/revenue-related operations, ensuring that the service is resourced appropriately to meet contractual requirements. Responsible for all aspects of delivery of reactive, revenue-related task orders in line with budget expectations, quality standards, and client timescales. Responsible for building effective relationships with the client team and supply chain whilst ensuring budgets, resources, and strategies are in place to ensure long-term profitability and contract expansion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing technical expertise and supporting the team, creating value-added solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and company procedures, especially health and safety.
- Ensuring effective resourcing of the service at all times to meet workload demands.
- Managing resources, employees, fleet, plant, suppliers, and subcontractors effectively.
- Providing information to the client and operational/Business Managers as required.
- Reviewing performance programs and working towards long-term solutions for repetitive problems.
- Contributing to setting budgets and forecasts to adopt a consistent, challenging, but achievable approach.
- Managing operational performance to meet financial targets and contributing proactively to the month-end process.
- Understanding and meeting client requirements, using feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Maintaining a framework for performance management, succession planning, and team development.
- Coaching and mentoring key operational team members.
- Creating a culture within the operational team based on compliance, pride, and ownership.
