Balfour Beatty are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Administrator to join our Highways Connect Plus Services Team. The role encompasses collation, maintenance and reporting of HSW data and provides timely and accurate administrative support to the HSW team on the project. The position can be based from Dartford, Leatherhead or South Mimms.

About The Role

Connect Plus Services (CPS) brings together the collective strength of Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis Road Operation UK. With around 600 people across eight locations around the M25 network, we manage the operation of the M25 24/7, from routine maintenance to whole‑life asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Support/produce collateral and reports for the HS&W teams and UK projects/offices.
  • Monthly and weekly data reporting.
  • Ownership of Project HSW Governance.
  • Build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate incident reports, learning, and best practice across the business.
  • Record Near‑Miss Cards and track close‑out actions.
  • Regular communication and promote engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying site HS&W training needs, collating training records and reporting performance.
  • Assist in planning and execution of events.
  • Produce slide packs for Executive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
  • Assist with administration for meetings.

Qualifications

  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Confidence with IT including Excel and PowerPoint and internal data management systems.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Experience providing administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive.
  • Able to prioritise workload and be deadline‑oriented.
