About The Role
Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team working on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, one of the UK’s most critical healthcare facilities. This is a key role delivering high-quality construction works in a live hospital environment, where safety, collaboration, and precision are paramount.
As Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project teams, supply chain partners, and hospital stakeholders to minimise disruption and maintain continuous operational safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on site
- Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to meet programme milestones
- Oversee short-term planning, sequencing, and logistics in a live hospital environment
