We are delivering the ASTII Energy Project in the North East of Scotland and are looking for a Planner with Structures/Build experience to join our team. This is a careerâdefining opportunity to contribute to one of the UK's landmark energy projects, reporting directly into the Planning Manager and working alongside some of the industry's leading professionals. This role is ideal for someone who has moved from site as an engineer/agent to now looking for a career in planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed construction programmes from tender through to completion.
- Ensure programme content complies with planning procedures and guidance.
- Analyse and report on risks and opportunities.
- Support project delivery teams with sequencing, resource planning, and performance tracking.
- Produce clear planning deliverables â including schedules, reports, planning philosophy and KPIs â to support successful delivery.
- Collaborate with multiâdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to keep this ambitious project on track.
Who weâre looking for
- Proven experience as a Planner with construction experience.
- Preferable site to planning experience.
- Strong working knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta or MS Project.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and resource management.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholderâmanagement skills.
