Job Description

About the role

We’re looking for a committed and experienced Foreman to join our project team at the Wallend 400kV site in Kent – a key part of the Siemens/NeuConnect development. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role on a high-profile project, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.

As Foreman, you’ll supervise direct labour teams, support subcontractor management, and drive site operations forward to meet programme milestones. You’ll be a key voice on-site, delivering both leadership and technical excellence.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage site teams, including gangers and operatives
  • Oversee and support subcontractor activities
  • Monitor site progress against programme and KPIs
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Support the production of Work Package Plans, Task Briefs and Risk Assessments
  • Drive quality through Right First Time culture and hands-on quality inspections
  • Engage with short interval control meetings to drive daily productivity
  • Validate labour, plant and resource records in line with cost control processes

Who we're looking for

  • A strong communicator who can lead teams effectively and safely
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a construction environment
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Holds a valid CSCS Card, SMSTS, and a full UK driving licence
  • Capable of working flexible hours including nights and weekends when required
  • Confident using digital tools such as BIM Field 360 (or willing to learn)
