Part of Balfour Winery and set in the nearby village of Goudhurst, The Winemaker’s Pub is our traditional local with wine at its heart. This is English wine in its most natural setting: a welcoming, generous pub where guests can return time and again for seasonal British dishes, estate-only wines by the glass, and a relaxed overnight stay in one of four boutique bedrooms. This is a place for good food, good wine and good company without pretention.
We’re looking for a skilled, hands‑on Pizza Chef to join our busy, friendly pub and help us deliver consistently great food for our guests. If you love working with fresh ingredients, enjoy a fast‑paced kitchen, and take pride in every plate you send out, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, stretching, and cooking high‑quality pizzas to order
- Managing dough prep, toppings, and mise en place
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
- Helping with general kitchen duties during busy periods
- Ensuring consistency, speed, and quality during service
