As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our operations and help shape the future of our production capabilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to take full ownership of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely—while working closely with both customers and suppliers to meet deliverables and resolve challenges effectively. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to contribute to operational excellence within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, co-ordinate and lead daily production operations and schedules to meet output and delivery targets
  • Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and cost control
  • Manage and maintain relationships with customers to ensure delivery requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery; address issues and drive improvements where required
  • Key point of contact for resolving production-related issues, delays, and technical challenges
  • Maintain and improve product quality, working closely with quality teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards
  • Lead, motivate, and develop production team to achieve high performance
  • Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.)
  • Collaborate across engineering, supply chain, sales, customers, and suppliers to support business goals

About You

We’re looking for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident working both internally and externally. You will have:

  • Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent communication being key, to motivate teams and liaise across all departments
  • Experience managing relationships with customers & suppliers to meet deliverables, resolve issues and track performance
  • The ability to analyse production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on results due to excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of health & safety and production processes
  • Experience in quality control processes and assembly line management
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience

Desirable:

  • Experience within Aerospace or Thermoforming environment
  • Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement experience
  • NEBOSH / IOSH or similar qualification
