Do you want to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for Children’s Support Workers to join our residential services supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, and complex needs.
You will help create a safe, positive and nurturing home environment where young people can grow, achieve and feel supported.
This Role Involves:
- Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people
- Supporting daily routines and promoting independence
- Managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive outcomes
- Safeguarding and ensuring the highest standards of care
- Completing reports, care plans and incident records
The Requirements Are:
- At least 1 year experience supporting children or young people
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience with Autism, EBD, self-harm or missing-from-care risks
- Strong communication and resilience under pressure
