Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a well-established children’s home and make a lasting difference? Balfor Recruitment is proud to be working with a stable and nurturing 3-bed residential home supporting children and young people aged 5–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). Your Impact as Registered Manager
- Hold and maintain Ofsted registration, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide strong, visible leadership that inspires and motivates your team
- Create and oversee high-quality, person‑centred care plans tailored to each child
- Promote a therapeutic, outcome‑focused culture across the home
- Drive continuous improvement and strive for excellence in care delivery
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management standards are always upheld
- Work collaboratively with external professionals, families, and agencies

What We’re Looking For:
- Recent experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong experience supporting children with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and developing residential care teams
- Up-to‑date knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and multi‑agency working
- A proven track record of achieving at least a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating within the last 2 years
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS
