About the Role

Balfor Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a full‑time position at a highly regarded school in the Coleshill area. The school focuses on providing quality education to students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.

Key Duties

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans tailored to students of all SEN needs.
  • Behaviour support: support positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Personalised learning: work collaboratively with other SEN staff and the SENCO to implement EHCPs and monitor student progress.
  • Communication: maintain open and effective communication with fellow SEN staff, parents, and external professionals regarding student progress and support needs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of diverse learning needs and strategies to support student learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
