The School/Role:

We are looking for a full-time TA to start working at a fantastic special needs school in Birmingham on a long-term supply basis. This role requires at least two years of experience working with challenging behaviour in a school or healthcare environment. Key Duties:

  • Constant Supervision: Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the child and others, particularly in managing disruptive behaviour.
  • Building Trusting Relationships: Foster trusting relationships with students to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Sensory Room Assistance: Facilitate students’ engagement in the sensory room to enhance their learning experience.
  • Outdoor Activities: Organise and facilitate opportunities for students to engage in outdoor activities daily, promoting physical activity and well-being.
