Balfor Healthcare are recruiting Learning Disabilities Support Workers dedicated to making a difference in the lives of adults with complex learning disabilities and mental health challenges. Located in a serene residential setting with private cottages for each resident, our clients service offers a comfortable, homely environment.
Essential Requirements
- UK driving licence (international licences accepted with minimum 6 months validity)
- Minimum 6 months paid UK experience in complex learning disabilities and autism
- Experience with adults with epilepsy
- Experience/training in Breakaway techniques
Shift Pattern
- Days: 8am-8pm
- Nights: 8pm-8am

The Role
As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents. You’ll support them in achieving positive outcomes and making life choices, acting as a positive role model throughout their journey. Your responsibilities will include documenting their progress to ensure tailored support is provided effectively. Engage in enriching activities, educational trips, and hands-on experiences, building strong relationships with professionals and families alike.
