Teaching Assistant – Primary & SEN
Salary: £90 – £100 per day

Balfor Recruitment Group is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary schools across Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils from Nursery through to Year 6 in welcoming, supportive and high-achieving schools. Flexible opportunities are available including daily, part-time, full-time and long-term positions.
Successful Teaching Assistants can earn between £90 and £100 per day, depending on experience and the type of role.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning, assisting the class teacher within a resource base, and helping pupils reach their full potential. A Teaching Assistant may also provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they receive the encouragement and guidance needed to succeed. Schools are looking for a reliable, patient, and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children and supporting their educational development.

Requirements
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you should:
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, or supporting children in a UK educational setting
- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Be willing to provide personal care where required
- Be available to work 8:30am – 4:00pm
Safeguarding & Compliance
All Teaching Assistant roles are subject to:
- An Enhanced DBS check (child and adult workforce)
- Two professional references covering the past two years
