A specialist SEN primary school in Sutton Coldfield is currently seeking a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This supportive and inclusive school caters to students who experience social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, alongside other needs such as ASD, ADHD, and speech or language challenges.
This role will include supporting teachers with material preparation for lessons, assisting with displays, managing behaviour support plans, and providing direct 1:1 or small group support focused on emotional regulation, social interaction, and learning.
The ideal candidate for a TA role should:
- Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in supporting children with SEMH and related needs
- Possess prior experience collaborating within a specialist or mainstream SEN setting
- Exhibit flexibility, proactivity, and patience

- Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate
- Recent school-based references
- Valid Photo ID β Driving Licence or Passport
- Full Enhanced DBS β on the update service
