The college is recruiting teachers of English for Academic Purposes to teach students on its dual-degree programmes in Engineering. Multiple positions are available from late August 2025.
Job Details
- Regular teaching requirements:
- Classroom teaching: 12-16 hours per week, focusing on English for Academic Purposes, including listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Teaching occurs at Chang’an University’s Weishui campus.
- Specific teaching assignments will be provided by the programme coordinator before each semester.
- Additional duties: Up to 8 office hours or feedback tutorials weekly, plus at least one informal conversation session.
- Working weeks: Must observe university calendar and be available during all working weeks.
- Lesson planning to meet learning outcomes.
- Providing formative feedback and conducting assessments, including exams and assignments.
- Attending staff meetings and engaging in appraisal systems.
- Other duties such as invigilation, supporting student activities, administrative tasks, and lesson delivery.
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly salary starting from 15,000 RMB before tax, with potential increases based on qualifications and experience.
- Benefits include housing and transportation allowances.
- One-year fixed contract with a one-month probation period.
- Monthly housing allowance of 1700 RMB.
- Round-trip airfare for the contract duration.
