Balconette is a leading supplier of balustrading, privacy screens and Juliet balconies primarily to the UK market. We are expanding and looking to add an experienced CAD technician to our UK office team. A successful candidate will be our customers point of contact whilst their order is processed through the Technical Department.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Communicating effectively with a variety of audiences, including customers, partners and colleagues.
- Working under the Head of Technical.
- Handling design issues and providing a correct Technical solution.
- Design systems that comply with building regulations and structural calculations.
- Creating drawings packages for customer approval.
- Purchasing the product through in house CRM software.
- Converting approvals to fabrication drawing packages.
- Surveying sites when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is beneficial.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
- Experience in the construction industry and terminology.
- Full UK Drivers Licence.
