We’re supporting a leading SaaS business in Bristol with the appointment of an Implementation Consultant to join its growing consulting team. The Role

  • Working closely with finance teams, IT functions and senior stakeholders, you’ll manage implementation projects from initial discovery through to delivery.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Leading ERP implementation projects across a varied client base
    • Running discovery workshops to understand financial processes and requirements
    • Translating finance needs into practical system solutions
    • Supporting system configuration, testing and implementation
    • Delivering client training and supporting user adoption
    • Managing project timelines, scope and stakeholder expectations
    • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and controls
    • Contributing to solution design and pre-sales activity

About You

  • This role would suit someone who has:
    • A background in management accounting, financial accounting, audit, financial control or finance business partnering
    • A recognised accountancy qualification, or is currently studying towards one
    • Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes
    • Exposure to ERP systems, either as a user or through an implementation or improvement project
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
    • The confidence to work directly with clients and lead workshops
    • A genuine interest in finance technology, systems and process improvement

Previous consulting or implementation experience would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. More importantly, you’ll be commercially minded, technically curious and motivated to build a career outside traditional operational finance.
