Do you want to report on a business... or help build one? Balance Talent Consulting are partnering with a high growth technology business that is entering an exciting phase of expansion and requires a technically strong Financial Accountant to help create the financial foundations needed to support future growth.

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of financial reporting, controls, analysis, and process improvement, whilst helping to build a scalable finance function within a fast-moving environment.

The Role

  • Ownership of monthly financial reporting and management information.
  • Month-end and year-end processes.
  • Revenue recognition and financial analysis.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Financial modelling, forecasting, and business insight.
  • Supporting budgeting and strategic decision-making.
  • Improving reporting processes, controls, and systems.
  • Working closely with operational and leadership teams across the business.

About You

  • We're looking for someone who enjoys building, improving, and creating structure.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Technically strong with financial reporting experience.
  • Advanced in Excel with strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable operating within a growth environment.
  • Commercially aware and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Passionate about process improvement and continuous development.
