Location: Gloucester (Hybrid/Flexible)

Flexible working hours available (Core: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

Due to exciting growth and the recent acquisition, the payroll team is expanding. We’re looking for someone with experience in Practice, Accountancy, or a Payroll Bureau environment, given the high volume and demands of managing multiple clients.

About the Role:

  • Manage payroll for 150+ clients across a range of sectors: care, legal, healthcare, finance, film & more
  • Support the migration to Brain Payroll, a new cloud-based payroll platform (full training provided)
  • End-to-end payroll processing and reporting
  • Calculations including SSP, SMP, P11Ds, Apprenticeship Levy and Employment Allowance
  • Identify discrepancies and errors with accuracy and efficiency
  • Support with onboarding new high-volume clients

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in payroll within a bureau or multi-client setting
  • Strong technical knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable adapting to new systems
