I'm currently supporting a client who is looking to hire an Implementation Consultant to join their growing consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified or qualified accountant who is keen to move away from purely operational finance and transition into a more technology focused, client facing role.

The position sits within a collaborative operations team, delivering ERP implementations to a broad client base. You'll work closely with stakeholders across finance and IT functions, helping organisations streamline processes, improve reporting, and optimise their systems.

They're ideally looking for someone with:

  • A background in management or financial accounting
  • Exposure to ERP systems (either in-house or as part of an implementation project)
  • Experience in audit, financial control or finance business partnering (highly beneficial)
  • Strong business process understanding
  • Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders

The role involves leading implementation projects, running workshops, delivering training, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. There is also exposure to pre-sales and solution design.

Importantly, this role offers a clear development pathway into a more commercially focused Solutions function over time, ideal for someone who wants to combine finance knowledge with technology, advisory, and client-facing work. This would suit someone commercially minded, technically curious, and ready to step out of core transactional finance into something more tech / systems led.
