Are you a qualified Finance Business Partner looking for an exciting new opportunity with a leading international law firm? A well-established firm is seeking a talented individual to join their Finance department in a newly created role supporting international offices and key UK departments. This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
The Role
The Finance Business Partner will act as a trusted finance contact for the firm's international offices and a selection of larger UK departments, with key responsibilities including:
- Serving as the primary finance point of contact for international offices, including across the Middle East and Asia, providing narrative and insight alongside management accounts.
- Working closely with international and UK department heads to develop forecasts, budgets and long-term plans, and explaining variances, risks and opportunities clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Analysing utilisation and identifying areas for improvement in financial metrics.
- Supporting RCF covenant reporting, cash flow forecasting and variance analysis.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider Finance team.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to take initiative in developing processes and the role.
- Excellent analytical and modelling capability, with strong Excel skills.
- Experience in professional services or a legal sector environment is desirable, as is exposure to international or multi-jurisdictional operations and cash flow forecasting.
