Operational Excellence Network & Route Lead
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Operational Excellence Network & Route Lead to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving continuous improvement initiatives across our Networks and Routes throughout the different European countries. This role will focus on driving cost savings through waste elimination, while meeting customer service performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Phase I – Approximately first 1 to 1.5 years
- Network optimization: Analyze our networks and identify opportunities to change the footprint of branches, change branch activities, and reallocate customer service locations.
- Route planning optimization: Analyze our route design process and identify opportunities to increase SPWH in route design, standardize processes, and increase SPWH through forecasting and capacity planning.
- Route planning daily management: Implement WCOM process design principles to visualize problems and trigger problem solving; introduce route Tier 2 meetings in collaboration with the OpEx Director of the respective Market Unit.
- Route planning software: Lead software selection in line with Brinks approved solutions, support project management, and supervise project implementation.
- Control tower standardization: Lead control tower process standardization including route monitoring and resolution of incidents; implement WCOM process design principles to visualize problems in real time; introduce control tower Tier 2 meetings in collaboration with the OpEx Director of the respective Market Unit.
- Build Organisational Capability: While conducting key responsibilities, provide training, identify, mentor, and develop future operational and lean practitioners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, project management, process improvement, logistics, network design, and route optimization.
- Language: English.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
