Balance Education is currently working with a client based in Chatham that is looking for an Electrical Installation Workshop Technician to maintain the workshop areas and give practical support and delivery of practical workshop sessions.
Our client is willing to take on a qualified electrician with electrical installation industry experience and support them with teacher training. My client is a successful and well established provider specialising in electrical installation training and boasting excellent facilities. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided.
You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.

Essential experience and qualifications:
- You must be a fully Qualified Electrician with a level 3 qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years working as an Electrician in industry.
- A keen interest to work in education.
Job Description:
- Full Time Hours Monday to Friday.
- Permanent Contract.
- Maintain the workshop areas.
- Employ safe working practices and comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain and replenish First Aid boxes throughout the designated workshops.
- Give practical support and delivery of workshop sessions.
- Maintain an inventory of all materials and equipment.
- Carry out regular maintenance of the tools, equipment and the workshop.
