This is a trainee electrical installation training/assessing post for a qualified and experienced electrician. No previous training or assessing experience is required, and full training and support will be provided.
The role involves training and assessing apprentice learners at various sites across the Greater London area. You will be allocated a case load and region within Greater London based on your home location. If you are a fully qualified electrician or time served and interested in an electrical installation training/assessing position, this role may suit you.
Responsibilities- Full time hours Monday to Friday.
- Permanent contract.
- Home based (office work / diary planning etc).
- Training and assessing apprentice learners at various sites across Greater London.
- Supporting apprentices with building their NVQ portfolio.
- Assessing apprentices' evidence & electrical work in the workplace.
- Working with employers and supporting successful training of their apprentices.
- Fully qualified electrician with either an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent full recognised apprenticeship and an AM2 certificate.
- Driving licence and use of a car.
- A minimum of 5 years working as an electrician in industry.
- A keen interest to work in education.
- £36,000 to £39,250 basic salary + £2,000 to £7,000 uplift dependent on postcode (£38,000 to £46,250 total).
- Car allowance (up to £5,000 additional to salary).
- Mileage allowance.
- Full assessor training and qualification provided.
- Company pension.
- 34 days holiday.
