This is a trainee Motor Vehicle Mechanics Tutor post for a qualified and experienced Technician. No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.

Are you a fully qualified and time served Motor Vehicle Technician? Could you be interested in a Motor Vehicle Mechanics teaching position? Balance Education are currently working with a client based in Wishaw that is looking for Tutors to teach apprentice learners. Our client is willing to take on a qualified Technician with industry experience and support them with teacher training. Our client is a specialist automotive training provider that works closely with premium brand manufacturers.

Package and Benefits:

  • Salary Range - £36,000 to £42,000

Essential experience and qualifications:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle mechanics
  • At least 5 years experience as a Motor Vehicle technician in the industry
  • A keen interest to work in education

Job Description:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Permanent - Full-time
  • Provide theory and practical training to Light Vehicle apprentice learners in both workshop and classroom environments

Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.
