As a Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Lead and support colleagues – playing an active role in guiding the team to deliver safe, consistent, and high‑quality services.
  • Develop your understanding of external regulators – including CQC and local authority standards – and gain experience in demonstrating compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in practice.

  • Take responsibility for office‑based leadership tasks – including scheduling, reporting, compliance checks, and communication with families, professionals, and stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Contract: Full‑time
  • Hours: 40‑hours’ per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (office‑based – with travel across the North West)
  • Location: The Base, Dallam Lane, Warrington, WA2 7NG

This position plays a key part in maintaining effective service delivery, providing guidance to our teams, and ensuring the people we support receive person‑centred care of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day coordination of existing packages of care, ensuring continuity and consistency.
  • Provide support, supervision, and guidance to colleagues within your team.
  • Work closely with service users, families, and external professionals to maintain excellent standards of care.
  • Manage office‑based administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Contribute to service improvements and uphold Balance Care’s values and quality standards.
