So what will you do?

  • With your Project Manager you’ll develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budget management for fabrication projects.
  • You’ll be providing technical guidance and solutions to project challenges through reviewing and refining drawings and specifications.
  • With the fabrication team you’ll coordinate materials, tools and equipment to meet with project requirements.
  • Supporting the Project Manager you’ll monitor, maintain and report progress and financial achievement of the project.
  • You’ll identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep your projects to plan.
  • With each project you’ll be finalising and documenting all project paperwork including arranging project wash up meetings.

And what are we looking for?

  • Competency with MS Office and planning tools (MS Project).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in an engineering / structural engineering / ship building environment.
  • Qualification at HNC/ Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Commercial experience and knowledge of project management principles.
