We’re looking for an experienced Marine Project Planner to support a busy schedule of vessel repair, maintenance and overhaul projects. It’s a critical role within our fast-paced team and an opportunity to add real value and showcase your expertise.

In Hebburn, we operate the largest commercial dry-dock on the East Coast of England. We have been at the heart of the North East’s shipbuilding communities for decades, and the expertise, skills and commitment of our workers has been passed down from generation to generation. Our varied and diverse order book means that our workforce have lots of opportunities to use skills on a variety of different projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Build accurate project schedules in MS Project
  • Translate vessel specs into detailed, resourced plans
  • Allocate labour, materials and equipment
  • Track progress and manage risks
  • Produce S-curves, reports and planning documents
  • Support bid planning and commercial teams
  • Communicate updates across all project stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

  • Marine maintenance/repair/overhaul experience with dry docks
  • Strong MS Project skills
  • Commercial planning background
  • Engineering/shipbuilding experience
  • HNC (minimum) — Degree preferred
  • Great communication and organisation
