About the role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to join our Procurement Team. The role is based in Spalding but offers a mix of hybrid working and travel to suppliers and Bakkavor sites. In this busy and exciting role, you will influence both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sourcing process to successfully deliver agreed portfolio plans, ensuring group goals and business needs are met and risks are managed.
About you: Ideally some exposure of Procurement in food manufacturing, CIPs qualifications would be advantageous. You will have good negotiation, communication, influencing, and relationship building skills along with excellent numerical skills. Strong MS Office skills are a must. This role would be ideal for an Assistant Buyer or a Procurement Assistant looking to kickstart their career to the next level.
